Spaghetti sauce may not be at the top of the list of spring/summer homemade, but I find at this point in the year that I'd like to do as much stovetop cooking as possible (to avoid turning on the oven!) My aunt introduced our whole family to this recipe, and she's made it many a time as the first meal of our family reunion. The sauce is delicious! Enjoy!
